My house had been on the market with an agent for 8 months with very little interest. To add to my frustration, the viewings I did have seemed to be from people who were ‘just browsing’ rather than serious buyers.
I got disheartened with my selected estate agent as the only advice they good give me was to reduce my asking price.
I came across Harvey Brooks when I asked to view a property advertised with them. To my surprise I was offered a viewing of the property on the same day which would would be accompanied by one of the directors. Julie then emailed me the full details of the property which included a really impressive video tour. The property also contained lots of extra bits of information which you don’t normally see for example age of the build, location of the boiler.
I noticed that the property was advertised under their Signature brand. It made me wonder if my own property was receiving the same care and attention from my current estate agent. As I was out of contract I felt I had nothing to lose and felt that my property would benefit from a more bespoke service rather than the one size fits all that i seemed to be getting.
On my initial consultation, Harvey from Harvey Brooks told me how he would re-launch my property, generate interest and achieve a sale within 6 weeks – without reducing the asking price. I was initially a bit sceptical and thought it sounded too good to be true but decided to give him a chance.
I write this review three months later ready to move to my new home. These people are the most professional and dedicated individuals I have ever met. They sold my house in three weeks for the full asking price with another buyer held in reserve. The attention to detail they gave to the marketing, negotiating and post-sale support was staggering.
